Poster Project

This project was definitely one of my favorite to do. The night I thought about this project, I struggled with my hair and did not know what to do with it. That was when the idea came upon to use my hair as an advantage for this project. I played on the ground on a white sheet and had my hair brushed upward to take this picture. My roommate took the pictures above me as I was excited to start this project. The phrase that I mention in this poster came to my mind when I was overthinking about something that I could not control, and I needed to just let go of it. So I compared this to the feeling of letting down your hair after having it tied up all day. I guess you can describe this feeling of taking off masks after wearing them for so long.

Dear Esteylen,     As your reading this 20 years from now, I would like you to remember the good and bad times of your freshman year at college because they are all important moments of your life that maybe you have forgotten some of those memories, but I am here to remind you that those moments you shared with your best friends made you the happiest and the difficult times you had made you the strongest. I hope that you are doing what you love right now and on your way to achieving your dream of doing what you love, even though right now I don't know what that is exactly. I honestly don't know exactly what I want to do yet because I keep changing my mind between International relations, or communications, or something in medicine. Right now when I think about my future, I hope that I will someday travel the world and change people’s lives for the better, and I really wanna help those who need it the most, which is why I decided to become an EMT this year! That is something tha

Logo Project

Mood Drawings/Board: Pos/Neg Logos: Business Logos:      This logo project taught me about the development of logos in branded companies that I never knew before. One of my mistakes was making my logo too complicated and not as simple, the little  details placed in the logo made a huge difference. Logos need to be simple enough to make it memorable and universal. If I had to redo my logo I would change some of the key details that made it complicated. Additionally, I decided to use my funny personality trait to influence the drawing of my logo. Originally the word funny was placed where my name is now to demonstrate my "funny" personality. Overall, I think this project brought me a couple of challenges for which I am glad I learned from them.
