Autoscopy Project

Image
The Autoscopy project aims to demonstrate different sides of my personality. On the left, you see my happy, positive side, who lives life to the fullest and views life optimistically. On the right, it is all the opposite. It is the me who overthinks about things that lead to her anxiety. However, in between both, there is a balance between each personality. I would define it as my more neutral side because sometimes I live my life with a mindset of “living life to the fullest,” but you can lose sight of what's in front of you after a while. The same way goes if you think way too much about what is in front of you. Overall, my Autoscopy reminds me to take a moment to focus on only my breathing and nothing else.

Somewhere Project

Image
The somewhere project was a great way to learn how to edit pictures on Photoshop. This was something I hoped to learn at the end of the class and I can proudly say now that I have achieved my goals in this class. The movie scene for this picture took place in The Grand Budapest Hotel during the elevator scene. What took most of my attention for this picture was the red walls of the elevator which made everything pop.

Multiplicity Project

Image
During this project I was very glad to be home because of where I could take these pictures, I had lots of options. At that time I was on call at my local ambulance agency and my friend Brigham helped with me the camera and gave me ideas of what different positions I could be in. There were a couple pictures that were taken but unfortunately, I could not use them because I stood in the same spot that the other “me” was in.

BW to Color

Image
During this project, I felt like it was similar to editing my picture into different color themes. However this one was a lot different and harder because we had to trace and color in our bodies. The original picture was black and white and then I chose three different color palettes that made up my pictures. In the end, some of the colors did not match up as well as I hoped. I think I could have switched around where the colors should have been to make it more visible.
